Manipulating the Selection Table

Each row in the selection table corresponds to a selected outlet. The selection table displays information about all the currently selected outlets. Level 2/3 users can select the data fields to be shown in the selection table. Level 1 users can display the standard data fields only.

You can sort the selection table on any field. Click on the field name to sort by that field and click again to reverse the sort order.

Use the vertical and horizontal scroll bars to view all the information within the selection table.

Using the selection table you can show a selected outlet on the plan and deselect outlets. In addition level 2/3 users can modify outlet information and print the selection table.

To remove the selection table click Close information panel icon in the top right corner.

To show a selected outlet:

  1. Click the required outlet in the selection table to highlight it. The outlet is outlined in red on the plan.
  2. Click Show outlet in the menu bar. The plan zooms in and moves so the chosen outlet is placed centrally on screen.

To deselect outlets:

  1. Highlight the required outlets in the selection table. To highlight an outlet adding it to others already highlighted hold the CTRL key and click on the outlet. To highlight all outlets in a continuous list click on the first outlet and then hold the SHIFT key and click on the last outlet.
  2. Click Deselect outlet in the menu bar. The highlighted outlets are deselected in both the plan and the selection table.

Note: Any changes made to the current selection using the selection table are immediately reflected on the plan. Likewise any changes made to the current selection using the plan are immediately reflected in the selection table.

To print the selection table (Level 2/3 Users only):

  1. Click Print table in the menu bar.
  2. The print window is displayed. Select your printer and click Print.

Note: You will need the orientation set to landscape to fit the selection table on an A4 sheet. To change the orientation click Preferences once you have highlighted the printer to use.

To modify outlet information (Level 2/3 Users only):

  1. Double click on the row corresponding to the selected outlet and edit the text for the individual field as required. Any changes you make are automatically converted to upper case. You may only modify information contained within the following fields:

    Fascia

    Activity

    Fascia Master

    Primary Activity

    Secondary Activity

    Holding Company

    Category

    Use Class

  1. Click Update for the change to take effect on the map.

To choose the selection table fields (Level 2/3 Users only):

  1. Click Choose Fields in the menu bar.
  2. The Choose Fields window is displayed. Check the boxes for those fields you want to see in the selection table.
  3. Click OK.
